How to Use Fancy Floss?

Fancy Floss How To Series - Invented by Dr. Guy Giacopuzzi, DDS
Fancy Floss is the only device able to make a "C" shape around each tooth - essential for correct flossing!

Designed and created by Dr. Guy G. Giacopuzzi, DDS, Fancy Floss has 2 patents on its unique design.

The Fancy Floss fits easily in either hand. Once you have it in your hand, place your thumb and a forefinger on the take-up reel. This will allow you to keep constant tension on the floss.

The floss should be tight as you enter the contact of a tooth. Then, once under the contact, tension should be released slightly to allow the floss to assume a "C" shape. The floss is then dragged up and down the side of the tooth. Note: You can now floss both teeth in this area. The back of one tooth and then the front of the other without relocating.

Suggestions:

Practice - like all tools, you will need to practice at using the Fancy Floss - it may take a few days to get the hang of it.

How To - Place the Fancy Floss in your mouth with the "fingers" facing down for the lower teeth, "fingers" facing up for the top teeth.

Advance the Floss - it is important to keep advancing the floss at regular intervals. Advance to a new one inch section of floss for every quadrant of teeth. Floss lubricaton wears off after a few teeth and the floss can break.

Tension 3x - Control tension with the tension wheel, with the device's fingers (open or closed) and the tension screw at the bottom that creates tension against the floss reel. Adjust any or all of these points to enhance tension.
